CleverMax (Nantong Mingxing Technology Development Co., Ltd.) is a long-term strategic partner of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Software and Institute of Automation, and the original inventor of RFID-tracked production-line automation for the apparel and home textile discrete-manufacturing industries. We have engineered hanger system production lines, smart cutting, smart sorting, smart warehousing and overhead storage for 6,000+ customers across 100+ countries since 2003.

Nantong Mingxing Technology Development Co., Ltd. (international brand: CleverMax) was founded in 2003 in Nantong, Jiangsu, and has maintained a long-term strategic partnership with the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Institute of Software and Institute of Automation ever since. CleverMax is the original technology inventor that brought RFID radio-frequency identification into discrete-manufacturing industries such as apparel and home textiles. The company today holds 24 invention patents, 29 software copyrights, and 28 utility-model patents covering its core rail, routing, station-handoff and MES platform technologies.
Built on more than a decade of apparel-production management experience and the deep R&D support of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, CleverMax tackled a set of long-standing pain points in apparel and home textile manufacturing: real-time shop-floor data collection that nobody could keep up with, line-balancing across constantly changing work sequences, and the mixed-flow processing of many simultaneous orders and tasks on a single line. Through ten-plus years of joint R&D and thousands of factory-floor experiments, CleverMax deeply integrated RFID, industrial automation, the internet, the Internet of Things, big data and cloud computing into a single production-line platform — solving these century-old problems and triggering a new round of technical revolution in traditional manufacturing.

The CleverMax product family today spans seven canonical product lines: the CleverMax hanger system (currently in its sixth generation), the CleverNode offline cutting system, the CleverMax smart warehouse system, the CleverMax overhead storage system, the small-batch multi-SKU customisation production-management system, the Yundao cloud-manufacturing MES platform, and an order-production-process data-interoperability system that links them all together.

ERP project-management system
Integrated the Yundao MES production orders with an ERP system: order scheduling is completed inside ERP with clear ownership per task, and operators report progress from both mobile and desktop. Brings a task center, message center and approval workflow into one platform.

Sewing pads connected to the hanger system
CleverMax sewing pads were connected directly to the hanger system: each workstation receives its hanger tasks on a pad, so line operators capture full production-flow data across the preparation, processing (in-line inspection) and finishing stations.

Twenty-year mark, 6,000+ customers, 24 invention patents
Twenty years after founding, CleverMax counts 6,000+ customer deployments across 100+ countries, with 24 invention patents, 29 software copyrights, and 28 utility-model patents on file.

Sixth-generation CleverMax hanger system
Released the sixth-generation CleverMax hanger system, with upgraded RFID workstation routing, bridge-station hardware, and tight integration into Yundao MES.

CleverNode offline cutting and smart sorting
Shipped the CleverNode offline cutting-floor data system and the smart sorting system, completing an end-to-end shop-floor product set covering cutting, sewing, sorting, and storage.

Smart warehouse and overhead storage rolled out
Launched the CleverMax smart warehouse system and the overhead storage product line, letting customers connect the hanger system main rail with WIP buffering and finished-goods retrieval.

Yundao cloud-manufacturing MES launched
Released the Yundao MES — a multi-system co-ordination platform for production-plan execution and shop-floor data management — bringing the rail platform and the data platform into a single product.

First-generation hanger system production line
Shipped the first-generation CleverMax hanger system production line, with RFID workstation routing developed jointly with the CAS partner labs. Filed the first invention patents on the routing method.

RFID, industrial automation, IoT, big data and cloud — fused into one production-line platform
CleverMax engineering deeply integrates six technology stacks into a single platform for the apparel and home textile industries: RFID radio-frequency identification, industrial automation, the internet, the Internet of Things (IIoT), big data analytics, and cloud computing. The integration was developed jointly with the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Software and Institute of Automation over more than a decade of factory-floor R&D, distilled through thousands of experimental runs on real apparel and home textile lines.
The result is a configurable, not bespoke, production-line stack: a single rail platform adapts to apparel, home textiles, automotive interiors, and industrial filtration by swapping hangers, station layouts, and routing rules. Real-time shop-floor data flows up into the Yundao MES, where AI scheduling algorithms balance mixed-flow production at scale and feed routing decisions back down to the line. Customers can integrate their existing ERP and MES via documented APIs — no rip-and-replace.
